Not the way you thought we’d start an article on new features? We’re surprised too!

We’re shocked that March 2019 has already arrived, but also excited to showcase the new features we’ve already added this year — “a continual chain” of features if you will.

Video Trimming

First up, we added the ability to trim your videos!

Never again will you have to worry about a video running just a few seconds too long or a weird pause at the beginning of your message. You can now trim those unwanted seconds with just the click of the ol’ mouse.

New Intro Theme

Since we are now in March, it would be madness for us to not create a brand new intro theme just in time for a basketball tournament we’d love to name but legally can’t!

Embed a Giving Form

Creating an Appeal or Solicitation campaign? Want to make the donation process even easier for your recipients? You’re in luck!

We’ve added a way to embed your giving form right on the ThankView landing page. Check out this article for more information on how to embed giving forms.

Autoplay

Now, when your recipients are viewing a ThankView they will no longer need to click play for the video to start.

Recipients will still need to unmute the video due to the policy of blocking auto-playing audio, but doing so is a snap! Here is an example of the ThankView video player with the new “Tap to Unmute” button:
